Fast Food Chains Are Slashing Items
Restaurant chains are going on a slashing spree with brands like Dunkin Donuts, Chilis and Sonic cutting dozens of menu items. On Monday, Dunking Donuts slashed it’s menu beginning the process of cutting 10% of items.
Dunkin’s brand CEO, Nigel Travis, told business insider: “It really started with our franchisee being concerned with how complicated our menu was and how difficult it is to train employees and find employees as result. Secondly, we realized ourselves that we have a lot of items that probably needed to be cut, so to speak”.
Dunkin isn’t alone, Chills cut a whopping 40% of it’s menu items on September.
